The basis of the script about the relationship between George Jones and Tammy Wynette was taken from Their only daughter Georgette Jones Lennon’s memoir. Filmed in Wilmington, NC the wardrobe was donated to Vintage Values after production was finished. This store supports The Domestic Violence Shelter and the services they provide. All proceeds went to the support of this organization. I can’t promise that you will see these shoes in an episode (you just may) but you will own a piece of production history.
